    Licensed Mental Health Counselor

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in New Mexico, with a passion for supporting individuals—especially children and adolescents—on their journey toward healing and emotional well-being. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, and went on to complete a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of New Mexico.

Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the profound impact trauma can have on daily life. I believe in the power of therapy as a path to peace, healing, and growth. To support clients in processing and recovering from trauma, I have completed specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach proven to help individuals heal from traumatic experiences.

My work is deeply rooted in my passion for helping children and adolescents thrive. I am actively expanding my clinical toolkit through training in play therapy and sand tray therapy—developmentally appropriate modalities that allow young clients to express themselves and work through challenges in ways that feel natural and safe.

At the core of my approach is a commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and client-centered environment. My goal is to help clients identify their emotions, build healthy coping strategies, and communicate their feelings in a way that feels both safe and empowering. I strive to meet each person where they are, honoring their unique experiences and supporting their journey toward improved mental health and well-being.

Born and raised in New Mexico, I enjoy staying connected to nature and my community. When I’m not working, you can often find me outdoors—camping, gardening, or hiking. I also prioritize physical movement as a key form of self-care and enjoy activities like early morning workouts, running, and playing volleyball.
