    Full-Time Independently Licensed Mental Health Therapist

    What This Role Is Really About

    This is a full-time clinical role providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups across a range of clinical needs. You’ll work with a diverse client population while being supported by a collaborative team that values thoughtful care, ethical practice, and sustainable work rhythms.

    You’ll be able to focus on therapy while practicing within a well-supported agency structure designed for long-term professional growth.

    What We Offer

    We offer W-2 employment with a professional compensation and benefits package.

    Estimated annualized compensation and benefits package of $78,000–$90,000+ for full-time independently licensed clinicians, comprised of:

    • $53–$60 per client billable hour
    • $25/hour for paid administrative time, including team meetings and consultation
    • $25/hour for eligible no-show/late-cancels
    • Additional compensation for designated clinical supervisors at $50/hour for supervisory work
    • Estimated full-time compensation is based on an expected caseload of 26 completed sessions per week, averaged quarterly

    This is a W-2 position, not a salaried or contract role. Compensation includes a fee-for-service hourly rate for completed client sessions, plus separate hourly rates for administrative time, eligible no-shows or late cancellations, and supervisory work. Estimated annualized compensation is not guaranteed and may vary based on applicable compensation and benefit terms.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Providing ethical, client-centered therapy grounded in thoughtful assessment and individualized treatment planning
    • Maintaining timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in alignment with agency policies, HIPAA, and applicable regulatory standards
    • Supporting clients through emotional, psychological, and behavioral concerns
    • Collaborating with colleagues to foster a healthy, respectful clinical culture
    • Practicing within professional, ethical, HIPAA, and state licensing guidelines

    Qualifications for the Role

    You may be a great fit if you:

    • Hold an independent New Mexico license (LPCC, LCSW, LISW, or LMFT) and a current Medicaid number
    • Have 3+ years of outpatient clinical experience
    • Value consistency, collaboration, and clinical integrity
    • Practice with curiosity, humility, and strong clinical judgment
    • Communicate clearly and thoughtfully with clients and colleagues
    • Carry professional liability insurance

    Compensation is based on experience, training, and qualifications. As a W-2 employee, ReNewNM covers many costs typically absorbed by independent contractors.
